“We started Viv & Leigh to create a backpack that feels personal and playful for children, while also offering the quality and durability parents can trust,” Lisa Jo, co-founder of Viv & Leigh.“
“It’s about helping children feel recognized in every sense—not only for how they appear, but for how they experience the world and grow within it,” JC, co-founder.
It all began with our daughters.
Watching them grow, laugh, and create their own little worlds reminded us of something we had almost forgotten. How powerfully connection shapes who we are. Their friendship brought our families together — and, in turn, brought us into a friendship of our own.
We had both built careers across different industries and continents, often far from family, learning to create home wherever we landed. But beneath those different journeys we shared something deeper. The desire to create something truly meaningful for our children.
That’s when a simple question took root.
What if the everyday things in a child’s world could carry more meaning, helping them feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves?
Viv & Leigh is our answer to that question. A brand created not to impress but to gently support childhood as it is. Curious, creative, and beautifully becoming.
We're so glad you're here. We hope our creations find a place in your everyday story.
